I will be bringing out Satellite Direct Review in this article. There are many satellite direct reviews available but most of them are written by people who haven’t even tested the product. The review presented in this article is given with actual screenshots along with pros and cons of the software so as to make the reader fully informed of the product.
NOTE: I have also used “SD” as an abbreviation for satellite direct in this article, so don’t get confused about what is SD.
Satellite Direct-The Complete Installation and Working Screenshots
After buying Satellite Direct, you will be able to download the software. After download, you will double click the downloaded software file, which brings out this screen as below:
After hitting the “Run” button as shown is above picture, you will get the basic SD setup wizard screen where you will press “Next” (Pic below)
The next is “License Agreement” where you will accept license agreement and click next. Now you will choose “Location” (accept location or choose new location and click next).
After the basic steps, you will get a installation progress screen like shown below followed by the installation complete screen.
Now before the software would work, it will ask you for “E-mail” and “Registration Key” as shown below:
1) E-mail: Here you will fill the same e-mail which you used while buying the software
2) Registration key: As soon as you order SD software, you will get a page showing your registration key, you will have to fill the same registration key.
After successful insertion of email and registration key in the satellite direct software, the software will open up with the update box as shown below:
A sample channel running on SD software is given below. For full screen view, you could use the full screen tab in SD software.
Now there are several links in the software which are mentioned below:
(1) Play : It is the usual play button, which will initiate any channel you selected from any country of your choice.
(2) Switch TV: This is for switching the software in TV channel mode. In this mode, you can select TV channels of the listed countries.
(3) Switch Radio: This is same as above, it just switches the software in Radio mode for accessing radio channels.
(4) Favorites: You can use this to maintain your list of favorite channels.
(5) Full Screen: To put the picture in full screen mode, you have to use this feature.
(6) Special Offers: It shows periodic offers, news etc.. Personally i don’t see it.
(7) Update: The software adds extra channels periodically, you can use this button for this updation procedure.
(8) Search: Any channel you want to search can be accessed from this.
(9) Select Country: This is to select the country whose channels you would like to view.

Scam Check of Satellite Direct
Before buying any digital product online, it is necessary to test out if it is quality product or just pure scam. I went through the same routine of browsing forums and web-pages to decide which satellite tv software is most recommended. But to my surprise, i found that each and every popular satellite tv software had got many complaints.
All the complaints that i found out comes under any of these three:
1) The software shows all free channels.
2) The number of channels are less than that advertised
3) Pictures are not HD
Regarding the first complaint i.e. “Free Channels”, i wouldn’t consider it as a complaint because it is obvious that no software would broadcast paid channels because if done so, then the software will definitely be sued by the paid channels. In Satellite Direct, there are large number of quality “free channels” for every category including entertainment, games, movies, news, 18+, etc.
The second complaint is true, no satellite tv shows full number of channels as advertised. In case of satellite direct software, it shows good number of channels and also adds new channels periodically. So even though, the channels are less than 4500 (as advertised), but the periodic updation makes it better than the other satellite tv softwares which never increase channel quantity.
Regarding HD quality pictures, In case of satellite direct, pictures are HD only in limited number of channels while rest channels are ok in quality.

When all the features are taken together, then it stands much better than every other satellite tv software. This is also the reason that it is the best seller for past 3 years amongst all satellite tv softwares online.
